		<description>I think JD&#039;s idea of cleaning up in stages is really good advice.  Get organize and put stuff that you may want, but aren&#039;t sure and try and get it out of the way.  If the next time your come across it you realize you don&#039;t need it, then you should get rid of it.  Assuming you aren&#039;t in a hurry to downsize (like you would be if you needed money, or were traveling), this is an excellent approach to take.</description>

I love a fresh start, and I like to clean up in stages.  In the first stage, I consolidate, sort, and pack.  Then I stick is somewhere, out of the way.  Then, if I don&#039;t need it after a while, I can eliminate it.  It&#039;s how I incrementally declutter and cut the dead wood.</description>
