You don’t need logos to tell the world who you are.
Quote from my new book, Act Accordingly.
Update: April 6, 2017
My friend Shannon, who was a social media expert for a big company in LA, convinced me that it wasn’t weird to post quotes from my books on social networks, because it was pretty much the same thing as photographers posting examples of their work on Facebook and Instagram and whatnot.
I was super creeped-out by the idea at first, but it proved to be a massively popular concept, and a lot of people were exposed to the thesis statements I wanted to convey in my books without having to read the books. Those ideas became a lot more sharable as a result.
Even though I’m still not a big fan of quotes on social media, I can see the value of them, especially when they’re something important you want to spread far and wide, and which can be conveyed quickly as an image.
